Dale Newsletter March 2006 Fabric Care Tip of the Month: Silk Garments We all love a nice silk shirt or blouse, but fabrics made from silk fiber demand special care. First and fore most is follow the care label when cleaning your silk garments. When it comes to a stain; "dry clean only" or "washable" silks should be taken to a stain removable specialist at your dry cleaners. With silk fibers using water could set the stain and at the very least leave a water ring . Never apply perfumes, or hairspray while wear a silk garment. The alcohol-base of these products will easily damage the color and fiber of silk garments. You should always apply these products prior wearing your garment allowing enough time for them to dry.
A Dale Cleaners' Community Service Program. Throughout Dale Cleaners history we have been vigorously active in supporting many of our community's charities. In continuing with this tradition Dale Cleaners is currently involved with: Dale Cleaners has teamed with WNCI to make the prom possible for girls who may not be able to afford a dress. 1) Drop off a prom gown you wish to donate at any Dale Cleaners or location between now and April 21, 2006. 2) Dale Cleaners will use our state-of-facility to clean and press each donated gown.
- Dale Cleaners Recommended Retailer of the Month: The Banana Republic Store at Easton. Two separate instances of superior Customer Service has earned the Banana Republic Store, Easton location, a recommendation in our Newsletter this month. The first was a case of Dale Cleaners running into technical problems in processing a light raincoat made by Banana Republic, in accordance with its care label instructions. Our Customer Service Manager contacted the service line at the corporate HQ and a very helpful associate, Adam, of the Banana Republic Stores recommended our client return the garment to a BR Store and even had the manager, Pam, of the Easton store called both our client and our Customer Service Manager back to offer assistance. Our client told the store manager that she had purchased the raincoat at a non-BR store, the manager told our client it didn't matter and with in 1 day she had a replacement. The second instance was a lot like the first but we contacted the Easton Store from the onset. The Banana Republic Store again responded quickly and graciously and the result was a pleased client.
